In a grand ceremony, five short films about preparations for the Beijing Olympic Games shot by world renowned directors have made their world premiere in the Chinese capital.
The films aired on China Central Television, a station in Beijing, and also the national TV stations of Italy, France and Iran.
The Chinese web site Sohu.com will also show the works.
Britain's Daryl Goodrich is one of the five directors.
The British director's five-minute film, entitled "Belief", focused on the hard work and thrill of athletic competition.

Italy's Giuseppe Tornatore made the film "Reunion," which tells the story of how a group of students and their teacher get back together after a 30 year separation.
Iranian director Majid Majidi's film "Colors Fly" focuses on children looking forward to the Games.
French director, Patrice Leconte depicts Beijing through the various structures, including the Summer Palace and the Olympic venues.
Andrew Lau Wai Keung, the only Chinese director, shows his love for Chinese food in "Color, Fragrance, Taste Beijing."
