一.realize：vt. 实现，了解，意识到，变卖
【词义辨析】
think conceive imagine fancy realize
think: 最普通用词，指想或思索，也指由反复思考而作出判断或得出结论等。
conceive: 指在头脑中组织好自己的思想，在心中形成一个系统的思想或一个见解。
imagine: 比conceive更强调形象思维，指在头脑中形成一个清晰明确的意象。
fancy: 与imagine略不同，往往指的是不切实际的，属于梦幻般的想象。
realize: 指领悟，通过生动的构思或想象从而抓住事物的本质。
【例句用法】
1.Do you realize that all of these shirts are half off?
你知道这些衬衫都卖半价了吗？
2.Only after you lose your health, will you realize the importance of health.
唯有在失去健康之后，我们才能意识到健康的重要。
3.I'm sorry to say I didn't realize that.
很遗憾我并不了解此事。
4.How much did you realize on those paintings?
那些画你卖了多少钱?
5.The furniture realized 900 at the sale.

二.good：adj. 好的，上等的，优秀的 n. 好处，善行 (复)goods：商品，货物
【词语用法】
good惯用于词组the good ship和the good town of中，一般不表示特别含义；
good to表示“和善”，而good for表示“有益于”。
He is good to her.
他对她很和善。
A walk will be good for you.
散步对你有益。
good既可作形容词，也可作名词。
He is not good at the game.
句中good作形容词指“擅长的”。
He is no good at the game.
句中good作名词指“益处”。
作形容词时，good可用的句型：
Somebody is not very good at something.
There is no good in doing something.
作名词时，good可用的句型。
Somebody is not much good at something.
There is not much good in doing something.
可以存在most good，表示“很好的”，不可改为best。
It is most good of you to come.
你来这里表明了你的好意。
比较more good与better的意思：
He looks more good than you.
他比你好看。
He looks better than you.
他身体比你好。
good作名词时，指“益处”，属于抽象名词。但偶尔指具体的一个益处，作可数名词；
区别for good和for ever：两者都指“永远”，但for good表一次动作带来的永久性结果。
Philip left the country for good.
菲利普永远离开这个国家了，再不回来了。
I shall love my work for good.
该句的表示是错误的，应改for good为for ever。
可以省略good morning中的good，但不可省略good afternoon, good evening和good night中的good；as good as是状语短语，表示“几乎”的意思。
He as good as said so.
可以算他这样说了，虽然他实际上没这样说。
表示“做某事没有用，无效”时，可用句式it is no good doing something来表达。
【错句举例与错句分析】
错句：It is no good to blame him.
纠正：It is no good blaming him.
翻译：责备他是没有用的。
分析：表示“做某事没有用，无效”时，可用句式it is no good doing something来表达，而非不定式。
